FAQ

How do you decide which products to review?

Through market research, we find the products people want to know more about. We watch market trends and consult other experts, but mostly we listen to our visitors, who are our most important advisors. We receive a lot of suggestions from those visiting our sites of products they would like to see reviewed.

How do you keep your reviews unbiased?

We do accept advertising. However, at no time do these commercial revenue streams affect our review process. The sales process is separate from the review process. All reviews are completed, rated and ranked well before we seek any monetary contributions. We believe this helps to keep our reviews honest and objective.

What is your review process?

Our review methodology is aimed at finding the best products available. It is used to ensure we take the necessary steps to be thorough and complete.

While we do consider research conducted by other experts, independent reviewers, professional organizations and publications, most of our site is dedicated to the information our reviewers have discovered from first-hand experience.

Our product reviews are for the average “Joe.” If it takes a PhD, expert or an extremely technical background to use the product, we generally won’t report on it. We do have some exceptions, but overall, our goal is to provide and report on products that would be used by an average consumer.

How do I get my product reviewed?

We are happy to receive requests for reviews and we will try to get to them as soon as possible. However, we do not review products that are in beta testing – we prefer to wait for the final product.

How often do you update your reviews?

The world is constantly changing, and we make our best effort to stay current with the market. Other information and resources, including our articles and news feeds are updated more frequently as we try to keep our sites stocked with relevant information.
